  • Sending documents to wikileaks is not whistleblowing...it is treason. There are proper procedures outlined specifically for whistleblowing which do NOT include treason. He had other avenues if he really just wanted to blow the whistle.

  • I have worked for alot of different agencies and also private industry. DoD gets paid far less than industry or the Federal civilian sector.

  • Doesn't anyone realize that shutting the government down will actually cost us more money? Probably lose any potential savings we might have negotiated in the budget due to increased cost to shut down (e.g. I am on travel OCONUS (overseas) for work.

  • I used to live in Titusville FL for a year and on TV every night, there was something about "Parents watch your children as the pervert in the white van tried to pick up a kid today on their way home from school". This was a daily occurrence. This was also the Orlando news channel reporting.

  • Who ever said the kids had dinner the night before? Maybe momma was too busy to feed them so they couldn't sleep. The roomie was probably tired of having to cover for the momma and gave the kids whatever she could find quickly to "shut them up" so she could sleep.
